Aircraft Interiors Expo launches major buyer initiative: AIX Connect

Senior buyers from the aviation industry will converge in Los Angeles this September for the return of Aircraft Interiors Expo – the only global fall event dedicated to the cabin interiors industry – and the launch of its new buyer programme: AIX Connect.

Qualified buyers from OEMs, airlines and tier 1 suppliers will be taking part in the event’s newly launched buyer programme which is designed to help key airline buyers meet exhibitors during the show to build business connections and discuss real projects.

Participating exhibitors will be paired with procurement teams from seating manufacturers and OEMs such as Airbus, Bombardier, Molon Labe and Zodiac Aerospace and key airline buyers to discuss business opportunities at the show. The programme will offer hand-picked VIP airline buyers the chance to benefit from increased networking opportunities while exhibitors enjoy high-quality business connections matched to their product offering.

Seating manufacturers, suppliers of flooring, fasteners, air conditioning systems and lighting/LED equipment exhibiting at the show and looking to build their business with the world’s leading airlines will be invited to participate.

Event Director Polly Magraw explains: “Networking is at the heart of our fall event – the sister exhibition to Hamburg’s spring AIX. As a truly international showcase for the aviation industry, not only will the event continue to support the evolution of the cabin interiors industry by promoting innovation, we will also facilitate business opportunities with leading airlines, OEMs and tier one suppliers.

“Our VIP guests will find a wealth of inspiring new products and essential business connections that they need to give them the competitive edge in the competitive aviation industry, while our exhibitors will be introduced to key buyers and decision-makers that they need to take their business to the next level.”

The cabin of the future

In addition to a wealth of networking opportunities, attendees can meet with exhibitors showcasing the latest cabin innovations including Diehl Aviation, who will showcase its Air Refrigeration Unit (ARU), InnoLite Toiler Assembly and Space Optimised Lavatory.
