Ryanair to launch two new routes from Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport respectively ahead of the summer season
Ahead of the summer of 2024 Ryanair is expanding at two of Swedavias airports and will be operating Dubrovnik from Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Sarajevo from Göteborg Landvetter Airport. The new routes will be served twice a week from each airport receptively starting in April and will be welcomed additions to the existing routes offered by Ryanair.
Ahead of the summer program 2024 Ryanair is expanding both at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport. At Stockholm Arlanda, Ryanair will start operating Dubrovnik in Croatia. Dubrovnik is perhaps the most visited and internationally known tourist destination in Croatia and is characterized by its mild climate, long history, its outstanding architecture, and historic buildings. Many also travel to Dubrovnik to visit family and friends.
At Göteborg Landvetter Airport, Ryanair will start operation a new direct route to Sarajevo, the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo, with its central location, is an important city for business in the region as well as a popular destination for those who are visiting family and friends.
– There is a great confidence in the Swedish air travel market, and Ryanair’s investment in additional direct routes from both Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport is a clear sign of this. Ryanair is an important operator at Swedavias airports and plays a significant role in connecting Sweden to well-established markets in Europe, says Elizabeth Axtelius, Director Aviation Business at Swedavia. Our main goal is to increase the connectivity and Ryanair’s vast network facilitates for people to meet, whether it is for business, leisure or to visit family and friends, says she.
Starting on the 3rd of April, the route Stockholm Arlanda Airport – Dubrovnik will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. Starting on March 31st, the route Göteborg Landvetter Airport – Sarajevo will be served twice a week, on Tuesdays and Sundays.
