Edelweiss - Economy Class Tableware

The holiday airline launched a new concept of food onboard. Edelweiss offers specialties from its different destinations to its passengers with local catering companies cooking their own typical dishes, which is served along with a choice of iconic Swiss specialties.

The brand new equipment plays a crucial role in the concept. The economy class introduces a new compact and practical non-slip tray which, along with durable cups, bowls and metal cutlery create an enjoyable experience on board while limiting the use of disposable items.

For second service, the innovative Edelweiss Box is both reusable and fun, with its lid becoming a bread plate during the meal. Being completely reusable, the Edelweiss box is a token of the airline’s commitment to limit as much as possible the carbon footprint of its activities.
