Peach Finalizes the Additional Order of 18 Airbus A320neo

 18 aircraft are to be added to the Peach fleet with the aircraft gradually delivered from 2021. These additional aircraft will be used for upgrading the existing fleet.

Peach Aviation Limited announced that it has finalized the additional order of 18 A320neo aircraft from Airbus (Head of Commercial Aircraft Division: Guillaume Faury). Peach has already placed an order for 8 A320neo aircraft, and it is planning to receive the first aircraft from this order during Financial Year 2020.

The additional A320neo aircraft will be received after Financial Year 2021 and they will be used as replacement aircraft for the existing fleet. The A320neo uses state-of-the-art technology such as new engine option (neo) and wingtip devices such as a sharklet, which is a large wing tip. With this, as compared to conventional aircraft, the aircraft offers excellent environmental performance in terms of significantly improved fuel efficiency and reduced emission of CO2.

In Financial Year 2020, Peach plans to introduce 2 medium – range A321LR aircraft. The A321LR is the newest member of the A320 family of jets, the best – selling single – aisle jet in the world, and based on the A321neo, a member of the same family of jets. The model boasts a flight distance of 7,400 km, the longest flight distance in the world for a single – aisle jet, which will make it possible for Peach to fly throughout Asia.
