Eurowings launches interactive, personalized entertainment platform “Spafax Profile”

Simple and convenient film selection: Eurowings customers can now discover the current entertainment programme on board online before boarding.

Together with Spafax, a global content agency, Eurowings is introducing the interactive entertainment platform “Spafax Profile”: Eurowings passengers can now discover online and browse the entertainment programme on board their flight via and get an overview of the available series, films, games and audio content in advance – for example while waiting at the gate – and select their favorites. In addition, customers can also view film trailers via “Spafax Profile”, recommend series and film tips to friends via e-mail or social media or get more information about the Internet service available on board.

By using a fully digitized version of the Eurowings in-flight entertainment programme, Eurowings is able to reduce printing, distribution and waste costs and, due to the lower weight, kerosene and associated CO2 consumption is also reduced – a further step towards greater sustainability.
