Culinary highlights in the skies: Austrian Airlines and DO & CO are bringing back “Flying Chefs”

  • Flying Chefs will be taking off again with Austrian Airlines starting in April
  • Unique Business Class service gradually phased in on Austrian long-haul flights
  • DO & CO and Austrian Airlines offering a truly Austrian culinary experience above the clouds 

After a three year long break, due to the Corona pandemic, Austrian Airlines and their longstanding partner in catering DO & CO are planning the comeback of the “Flying Chefs” for the summer flight schedule 2023. Starting in April 2023, the chefs employed by DO &CO will offer a complete gourmet experience to passengers in Business Class to long haul destinations. Besides the professional preparation of innovative dishes from all around the world, DO & CO and Austrian Airlines focus on the use of regional high-quality products.

In the first months of the Austrian summer flight schedule, the “Flying Chefs” will curate the current Business Class service on long-haul destinations. Starting in summer 2023, Business Class guests on Austrian Airlines flights will experience a completely newly designed catering service.
