Bamboo Airways to sign Memorandum of Understanding with Lufthansa Technik

Bamboo Airways inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on aircraft maintenance service valued at Є100 million with Lufthansa Technik – Germany’s leading and prestigious MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) provider.

The signing will create opportunities for both sides to enhance the highest standards of technical supports solutions, fulfilling operational demands and further developing in the aviation ecosystem. Accordingly, this MoU allows Bamboo Airways and Lufthansa Technik to explore a wide range of cooperation areas related to comprehensive component supports for Boeing 787 and Airbus A320 aircraft; maintenance services for engines V2500, LEAP-1A, and CF34; along with other support requirements.

This not only confirms long-standing fruitful ties between Bamboo Airways and Lufthansa Technik but also creates further value for both sides. In addition, Lufthansa Technik will provide support solutions for Bamboo Airways’ upcoming new routes to Germany in order to streamline the arrival procedures at airports.

The signing is held within the framework of Vietnam Investment Promotion Week in Germany and Europe from March 6-14, 2022, organized by Bamboo Airways, FLC Group, and the Embassy of Vietnam in Germany. In an attempt to connect important partners, Bamboo Airways has proved its determination in strengthening sources, effectively operating international routes, meeting travel demands of passengers, and contributing to the economic bounce-back in the post-pandemic period.
