Delta upgauges aircraft on Buenos Aires – Atlanta route
Delta begins flying the Airbus A330-300 between Buenos Aires and Atlanta – a 20 percent capacity increase – as of yesterday.
“The expanded capacity allows us to better serve our customers flying to and from Argentina as well as our partner Aerolineas Argentinas’ customers flying with us through our codeshare agreement,” said Rodrigo Bértola, Delta’s Director – Hispanic South America. The A330-300 will replace the current Boeing 767 on the route.
The A330-300 has 34 Delta One full flat-bed seats with direct aisle access for every traveller. Delta One customers will enjoy industry-leading food with Latin-inspired meal selections by Chef Michelle Bernstein paired with elegant wines chosen by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson. The aircraft also features oversized personal entertainment screens, allowing customers to experience on-demand in-flight entertainment.

The 293-passenger aircraft also includes 40 Delta Comfort+ seats and 219 seats in the Main Cabin. Our latest improvement included the introduction of new sleep kits and several other upgraded amenities for passengers seated in the Main Cabin on flights to and from Argentina. Other product initiatives being rolled out across Delta’s international fleet include the expansion of its Wi-Fi service.
