25 million Wizz Air passengers at Katowice Airport
Airline notes record-breaking result in Pyrzowice
On 25 July 2023 (Tuesday), Wizz Air handled the 25 millionth passenger on flights to and from Katowice Airport.
Aldona, passenger number 25,000,000, comes from the Subcarpathian Voivodeship; she returned to Katowice Airport with her family after vacation in Bergen, Norway.
Wizz Air has been present at Katowice Airport since 19 May 2004, when the carrier’s Airbus A320 handled the flight to London-Luton. It was the first commercial operation in the airline’s history.
