Passenger, Ramp and Cargo Handling Services for Airlines

Worldwide Flight Services is a global provider of Passenger, Ramp and Cargo Handling Services for Airlines.

In Ireland, Worldwide Flight Services has grown rapidly since its conception in 2005. Through a combination of organic growth, acquisitions and the development of niche opportunities, we have established ourselves as a major force in the international air cargo handling industry.

Operating at all three gateway stations in Ireland and supported by a team of more than 70 people, we serve over 35 airline customers handling over 40 thousand tonnes of cargo per annum.

We pride ourselves on delivering a consistent and reliable passenger, ramp and cargo handling services focused on meeting the needs of our airline customers.

WFS operate three state-of-the-art facilities at DUB, SNN and ORK. These are purpose built cargo facilities equipped with the most modern handling equipment available. They are all located in prime locations with excellent access to motorways and ports. Each of the premises are fully bonded and are licensed to handle all forms of cargo including general cargo, live animals, radioactive and dangerous goods, with fully trained staff to ensure that freight is handled strictly in accordance with all regulatory and carrier requirements.

As security is at the heart of our operations, we have equipped each warehouse with the most technically advanced web enabled digital CCTV systems. All movements in and out of the warehouse and reception areas are recorded and are retained for review for a minimum period of 12 months. We have also installed highly sophisticated driver identification and workflow software to ensure full conformance with all national and airline air cargo security programmes.

WFS’s forklift fleet is one of the most modern available, with a lifting capability to a maximum of 12,000kg. In the interests of the environment, almost all our forklifts are powered by electricity, which help reduce our carbon footprint.

Our stations are all equipped with the very latest weighing technology. Using floor mounted weighbridges careful checks are made throughout the entire handling process to ensure the accuracy of loading information.

Through the use of workflow software and handheld technology, we have the capability to process freight very efficiently leading to the best flight /truck turnaround times at all airports we serve.
