The 37th China Helicopter Academic Exchange Conference & The 5th Annual Civil Helicopter Industry International Forum Was Successfully Held in Nanjing

According to the forecast of the China Aviation Industry Development Research Center, the scale of China’s civil helicopters will reach more than 3,500 by 2027, and the market capacity of helicopter production and sales alone will reach 14.4 billion U.S. dollars. Calculated based on the input-output ratio of 1:8. It will drive a market of nearly trillion yuan, and its sales growth of 1% will drive 0.714% of the national economic growth.

Under this background, the 37th China Helicopter Academic Exchange Conference & The 5th Annual Civil Helicopter Industry International Forum was successfully held in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province on December 8^th. The forum was advised by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics; hosted by Chinese Helicopter Society, Galleon (Shanghai) Consulting Co., Ltd.; co-hosted by China Helicopter Research and Development Institute, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics; and supported by Shanghai General Aviation.

The new generation of information technology provides a solid technical foundation for the unmanned, intelligent, and clustered helicopters, and is also a representative of the forefront of professional technology. With the increasing maturity of traditional technologies, intelligent technologies have become the core driving force behind the continued development of helicopters and will lead the upgrade of industrial manufacturing. Unmanned and intelligent directly drive the iterative upgrading of related manufacturing industries.

With the theme of “Intellectualization, Clustering, Unmanned, Industrialization and Application of Helicopter”, the forum gathered more than 150 industry representatives to participate in the forum, and online view scales have reached more than 4600 times. Onsite, 18 guests gave keynote speeches to explore the latest advances in helicopter basic theory and methodology, the newest technologies in helicopter design and application, unmanned helicopter technology and demand, helicopter manufacturing and equipment, helicopter operation and maintenance, industry policies and development trends, and other industry hotspots.

The event sought to build a platform for communication, cooperation and fair problem solving among helicopter OEMs, helicopter operators and suppliers, to plan together, to develop and innovate, and to make efforts and contributions to the development and progress of China’s helicopters industry.
