As part of its continuous service improvement process, TotalEnergies is rolling out a paperless refuelling slip starting this summer across 27 airfields in France. This simplified solution saves time by reducing red tape and steps up traceability.
Paperless: an asset for supplying our customers
Previously, refuelling service providers had to fill out and have the customer sign a paper slip, which they then entered into a software program on returning to the station. Sometimes a source of errors, this procedure also increased the amount of time spent on administrative formalities. So TotalEnergies teams have worked to transform and simplify it. The procedure is now completely paperless. Now, refuelling providers are equipped with special smartphones that can be used near the petroleum products contained in the tanks of our refuelling vehicles. Starting this summer, this service is available at the following sites (business, international and also regional airports): Châteauroux, Montpellier, Perpignan, Saint-Nazaire and by mid-May 2021 at the following sites: Le Bourget, Béziers, Avignon, Bordeaux, Lyon Bron, Lorient, Tours, Metz, Le Touquet, Le Havre, Bergerac, Nancy, Vatry, Rodez, Saint-Brieuc, Saint-Etienne, Figari, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Toussus-le-Noble and Agen
The paperless delivery slip: a wealth of advantages
“Within 24 hours, the customer receives a PDF of the completed and signed delivery slip by email. Time saved for the accounts department! This smart tool brings digital technology alongside the aircraft and provides better support for refuelling personnel qualifying the customer’s customs profile. More reliability, fewer errors. A giant step forward,” says Nadia Chotard, TotalEnergies key customs manager. Some one hundred smartphones will be deployed. This upgrade means refuelling providers can refocus on tasks with higher added value.
