Orthogon Stand Optimiser

Description

Orthogon Stand Optimiser manages stand assignments at high traffic volume airports with flights that frequently deviate from planned schedules. It improves the stand utilisation with KPI based optimisation and what-if capability resulting in better airport efficiency and increased capacity.

The unique integration with Orthogon’s Demand Capacity Balancer (DCB) helps to connect airport airside and landside information and contributes to the Airport Operational Plan (AOP) for early and proactive performance management by all airport stakeholders.

A scientific optimisation algorithm dynamically assigns aircraft to matching airport stands under consideration of airport-specific engineering and business rules, airport initiatives like CDM Milestones and live flight data. Orthogon Stand Optimiser uses built-in conflict management to automatically solve stand conflicts and to provide alerts to the operator.

BENEFITS

  • Enhances situational awareness through innovative Human Machine Interface (HMI) with georeferenced interconnected views
  • Prevents airline service level agreement violations for airport cost savings
  • Improves stand usage through dynamic, event-driven optimisation algorithm
  • Reduces operator workload by up to 80%
  • Supports Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) by keeping flights at the stand during airside congestion
