Where are the low-cost aviation growth areas in Russia and worldwide?

The first day of the 17th international ‘Wings of the Future’ aviation forum is traditionally filled with events, non-trivial discussion topics and powerful speeches from a string of industry experts. The best example of such an inspiring mix will be the panel discussion covering ‘Low-cost transportation in Russia and the CIS: prospects and needs’.
The forum takes place on October 30-31, 2019 at the Renaissance Monarch Center Hotel in Moscow.
During the creation of the event’s programme, the increasingly important low-cost air transportation trends of civil aviation could not be ignored. What are the advantages and possible pitfalls of this business model? What are the problems and the ways and means to overcome them? And, possibly the most pressing issue for Russia and the CIS region: why in some markets do we see the high noon of low-cost carriers whilst, in others, such a business model is down at heel?
A lot of low-cost airlines are enjoying growth and, as the change in strategies alters the behaviour of the market, some hybrid business models are emerging. With expanding flight networks, low-cost carriers are discovering that they are now in competition with not only the network legacy airlines, but also against each other.
Experts from the most successful world of low-cost airlines will share their experiences and market views with the forum’s attendees, whilst revealing some secrets to their success.
The low-cost carriers discussion panel will be attended by:
Dinh Viet Phuong, Vietjet Air
Erdinc Ugurlu, Pegasus Airlines
Jeyhun Efendi, flydubai
An official representative of Buta Airways
Also, confirmations are expected from:
Janar Jailauova, FlyArystan
George Michalopoulos, Wizz Air
Andrey Kalmykov, Pobeda
Naturally, this is not a full list of what lies in store. Additional information about the forum can be found on our website>>>
