British-Irish Airports EXPO exhibits at MAG’s “London Stansted Meet the Buyers” and flagship “Heathrow Business Summit”

The 3rd British-Irish Airports EXPO is exhibiting at two key London-area airport buyer events in November: The “London Stansted Meet the Buyers” event on 1 November, and the “Heathrow Business Summit” on 8 November – the largest, and last, in Heathrow’s series of seven summits held all over the UK in 2017.

Stansted: Meet over 30 buyers

The Stansted Meet the Buyers event, at the Radisson Blu London Stansted, enables suppliers to meet registered buyers ranging from the main sponsor, Balfour Beatty, to over 30 other buyers including several who are also present at the June 2018 British-Irish Airports EXPO including: Amalga, Beumer Group, British Aviation Group, MACE and Vanderlande.

The London Stansted Meet the Buyers programme connects supplier companies with buyers for pre-arranged 10-minute appointments, plus two “speed-networking sessions.” Prices for SMEs start at £125+ VAT (including lunch).

Heathrow Business Summit offers 66 buyers

The fully-booked Heathrow Business Summit at the Hilton Terminal 5 on November 8, will have 66 buyers and is described by Heathrow as the “flagship event” which comes after the six Regional Business Summits which have been held across the UK throughout 2017. The Business Summits deliberately appeal to SMEs by “giving an insight into Heathrow’s major suppliers while opening the door of opportunity to win new contracts in the future.”

Buyers present at the Heathrow Business Summit who are also present at the June 2018 Heathrow-hosted British-Irish Airports EXPO include Vanderlande, Omniserv, Beumer Group, Amalga, Wilson James, and MACE.

The Heathrow Business Summit provides 15-minute face-to-face appointments between suppliers and buyers and costs £50 per business for one delegate, plus £30 per additional delegate. All places were fully booked at the time of wriitng. An estimated £100 million of new deals have been won by businesses, as a result of partnerships formed at the Business Summits.

British-Irish Airports EXPO at Stansted, Heathrow

The British-Irish Airports EXPO will be on hand at both the Heathrow and Stansted events to explain how companies exhibiting at the Heathrow-hosted London EXPO can meet an extensive range of procurement teams from a comprehensive range of British-Irish airport projects including:

• £16bn Heathrow Expansion
• £500m 5-year Stansted Transformation
• £1bn MAG Transformation
• €320m Dublin North Runway

Hosted by Heathrow, at London Olympia 12-13 June 2018, the free-to-attend 3rd British-Irish Airports EXPO is supported by the British Aviation Group, the Regional And Business Airports Group (RABA), the Department for International Trade, and Enterprise Ireland. The EXPO will have 200+ exhibitors, three specialist conferences, and 3,000 visitors. The EXPO had 143 exhibitors and 1,843 unique visitors when hosted by Birmingham Airport at the NEC in June 2017.
