The 39th China Helicopter Academic Exchange Conference & 7th Annual Civil Helicopter Industry International Forum

The global aviation industry has gradually recovered from the the epidemic and goes back to the right track of development. In the past decade, Chinese civil helicopters have grown by nearly 20% per year, from less than 200 in 2009, to now exceeds 1,000. According to Aviation Industry Development Research Center of China, there will be more than 3,500 civilian helicopters in China by 2027. Moreover, China’s civil helicopter market will continue to expand in demand for more than 2,500 aircraft in the next 10 years.

The successful flight of AC313A means the enhancement of aviation emergency rescue equipment. The 14th Five-Year Plan for the National Emergency System Scheme lays a long-term development for enhancing aviation emergency rescue capabilities, increasing the number of forest fire helicopters. By 2035, achieve law-based, scientific and intelligent emergency response, and form a new pattern of emergency management featuring joint construction. There is still a technology gap between China and foreign countries, we need to chase the frontier of technology to narrow the shortcomings, promote the technological progress of domestic helicopters, and grasp the core technologies.

On this background, the 39th China Helicopter Academic Exchange Conference and the 7th Annual Civil Helicopter Industry International Forum is scheduled to be held in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province from August 23rd to 24th, 2023. The theme of this forum is “Quality Training As a Safety Foundation and Serve the National Strategy”, focusing on the industry chain of helicopter, aircraft design and research, operation support construction, application scenarios, policy interpretation and developing trend, safety Training, etc. The forum aims to accelerate the improvement of domestic helicopter industry capability and core competitiveness, and stimulate the potential of the domestic helicopter.

The forum is to build an exchange platform for OEMs, research centres, operational aspects, suppliers of raw materials, components, testing and maintenance, which is for cooperation, communication, and problem solution. Let’s Plan, Explore and Innovate together, and make contributions to boom of China’s helicopter.
