Aviation Security Forum
Event Information
The global commercial aviation fleet is expected to grow by 33% to more than 36,000 aircraft by 2033. According to IATA, the Middle East will see significant growth and welcome an additional 237 million travellers each year by 2034. With this growth, aviation security becomes of outmost importance to ensure seamless flight operations, passenger safety, and the industry’s steady growth.
Being a critical infrastructure, civil aviation security is the center of attention for all key players, local government and international organizations, airports, airlines…etc. This is due to the high risks and complex challenges that the industry faces, requiring robust security framework, standards, and advanced solutions, for both physical and cyber security, as gaps can cause critical damage varying from casualties, economic loss, and national security threat.
In line with this, the Aviation Security Forum scheduled for 12-13 February 2024, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is set against the backdrop of the Middle East’s flourishing aviation landscape and the need for advanced security practices and solutions. The Forum provides an exclusive platform for government officials, airport and airline physical and cyber security decision makers, and technology experts. Participants will address critical threats and challenges unique to the region’s civil aviation industry and identify innovative solutions and industry best practices to support and safeguard its continued growth and success.
