  • Early speaker confirmations

    • Chris Browne, Chief Operations Officer, Easyjet

    Chris Browne joined Easyjet in 2016 as a Non-Executive Director on the Board before being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer. Chris has particularly strong operational and strategic expertise having previously held several senior leadership positions within aviation including at TUI Travel, Thomson Airways and First Choice Airways. Amongst other accolades, Chris has been awarded a Doctorate of Science (Honorary) for Leadership in Management (2011), an OBE for Services to Aviation (2013) and membership into the British Travel Industry Hall of Fame (2014).

    • Adel Abdullah Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia

    Adel Abdullah Ali transformed Arab aviation in October 2003 when he set up Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first low-cost carrier, opening up a market niche in the region. Drawing on his multiple years of experience with industry leaders such as Gulf Air and British Airways, he has driven Air Arabia’s growth into the largest low cost carrier in the MENA region. Amongst numerous other accolades, Adel has been awarded ‘Airline CEO of the year’ by various industry forums multiple times, including for five-consecutive years.

    • Christina Foerster, Chief Executive Officer, Brussels Airlines

    Christina Foerster became the CEO of Brussels Airlines in April 2018. She is the first-ever woman to head a Lufthansa Group airline and plays an important role in the common future of the Belgian home carrier and the Eurowings Group. Before her time at Brussels, Christina obtained her B.S. at the Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, USA, where she received the Merrill Presidential Award given to top 1% of graduating students. In 1999, she graduated from an M.B.A. at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She previously served as VP Network & Fleet Development at Lufthansa German Airlines.

    • Henk Jan Gerzee, Chief Digital Officer, Royal Schiphol Group

    Henk Jan Gerzee joined the Royal Schiphol Group as Chief Digital Officer in February of 2018. Henk’s focus is on the continued digital transformation and new technical innovation at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, having final responsibility over the airport’s digital strategy. Henk is a strategic designer of digital ecosystems that meet fast changing customer needs and has the proven ability to drive organization wide change. He is an experienced digital leader with over 15 years’ experience in the aviation, media, and manufacturing industries, having served both B2C and B2B markets.
