En Route International and Kraft Heinz announce exclusive agreement

En Route International, the dnata-owned travel food solutions company, has today announced the signing of an exclusive sales agreement with Kraft Heinz, which will see the companies launch a new ‘Heinz Beanz Toastie’ to the Travel Catering Market.

The new agreement, which gives En Route exclusive sales and distribution rights for the new toastie in the onboard travel market, will enable Kraft Heinz to grow its presence in the global travel sector.

The toastie has been specifically designed with both passengers and service providers in mind. Set in a card cradle, the bespoke packaging means that crew can heat and serve the toastie in one simple step, making it easy for passengers to open, hold and enjoy.

The product development team at En Route has also worked alongside Kraft Heinz to ensure that the appropriate safety testing and serving simulations were conducted so that travellers experience that traditional Heinz Baked Bean authenticity whilst still in the air.

As the exclusive distributor of the toastie, En Route will utilise its global network, making it available across four continents.
