airBaltic Awarded the Gold Status as a Diversity-Friendly Employer 2024
Latvian airline airBaltic has been awarded the Gold Status in the Diversity-Friendly Employer 2024 evaluation Diversity is the Power organized by the Society Integration Foundation of Latvia (Sabiedrības integrācijas fonds or SIF – in Latvian). airBaltic is one of 16 companies in Latvia to receive this highest recognition for excellence and innovative approaches in diversity management.

The evaluation Diversity is the Power organized by SIF provides organizations with tools to evaluate their diversity management efforts and opportunities to further enhance their workplace environment.
Since 2013, the gender balance at airBaltic has been close to 50/50, and in 2024 this balance is 45% women and 55% men. Additionally, the airline has minimized pay differences between genders. The pay gap within the company is only 2%, which is significantly lower than the average in Latvia for 2023, where women earned 16.5%* less than men.
airBaltic currently employs more than 2 700 professionals from over 36 nationalities, and for several years, the airline has been consistently recognized as a Top Employer in various nationwide and global surveys.
